The brief for this project was to create the branding, and design a range of stationery, for interior design company Roots. The client is high-end, and highlighted hotel company The Hoxton and custom furniture maker Benchmark as brand examples that they would like to emulate.
A classy serif font was the obvious choice, but I wanted to customise the lettering to provide something unique. By cutting out part of the lettering, I was able to add a more contemporary feel that suits the brand and the feel that they wanted to achieve.

To align with the company’s luxury identity I opted for a simple colour palette, utilising a single accompanying colour that allows the photography to stand out.
