THE CLIENT:

THE BRIEF:
Put Epidemic Sound on the map as the leading partner for creative artists and music creators.

THE INSIGHT:
Collaboration produces finer innovation. Creators want to feel part of a growing community.
OUR SOLUTION:
Position Epidemic Sound as a catalyst to empower emerging creators to collaborate.
Epidemic Connect is a space for producers and content creators to meet, collaborate & network to build community.

DIGITAL EXECUTION:
Epidemic Connect’s online presence will feature a separate, ‘members-only’ section of epidemicsound.com.
It will serve as a hub for networking, learning, discussion & content sharing. This area will be a permanent addition to the website.
The Epidemic Connect platform will feature highlighted artists, weekly challenges, stories, message boards, events & more.

PHYSICAL EXECUTION:
By definition, an epidemic is widespread, far-reaching and prevalent - and so are we.
We will take Epidemic Connect across the UK, Canada and the US through 2 day pop up events, launching with a weekend pop up event in London. The launch will encompass the collaborative energy we want to encourage, with installations, creator challenges, live demos from the Epidemic Sound team, talks from content creators and so on - all showing the power of music and collaboration.
We plan to roll this initiative out to other key cities such as New York and Toronto.


To keep the momentum we will encourage people to come together in real life to collaborate - in all forms.
Various physical activations will pop-up around the globe, including:

Silent discos playing exclusively Epidemic Sound tracks

The 'Epidemic Sound Jukebox', featuring music from Epidemic Sound which you can download straight to your phone



SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE:

ART DIRECTION:
We were keen to create an identity that was clearly separate to the general Epidemic Sound library, but still retained a resemblance to the main website. We took the existing colour palette, and took adjacent tones to come up with a refreshed palette. The addition of a gradient created a more modern, youthful feel.
To represent the multitude of skills & variety of artists present on Epidemic Connect, I created a series of logo icons that reflect a range of styles (digital, paint, hand-drawn etc.).


PITCH DECK:
I designed our pitch deck to be in-line with the identity we had created for the Epidemic Connect platform.
